Privacy
Salatuna is free, with no accounts and no tracking. Every calculation runs on your device, and nothing about you reaches us.
What we keep, and where
Your settings stay on your device only, in your browser: your city, the calculation method and your adjustments to it, the reminder time, and how times, digits and colours are shown.
If you tap “Use my location” and no city on our list is close, we keep your coordinates rounded to about 11 metres to calculate your times, and only the latest ones. Your location is never sent to any server.
So that the app works offline, your browser keeps a copy of its pages and files on your device.
Reminders come from the app on your device while it is open; there is no push server. The compass sensors are read only while the Qibla screen is open, and nothing from them is kept.
What we don't do
- No tracking, and no analytics or statistics tools.
- No cookies.
- We ask for your location, notifications or the compass only when you tap the button that needs them.
- We don't sell or share data: we have no data about you.
Sponsors
A card marked «برعاية» (sponsored) may appear. It is an image and a link served from our own site, with no scripts and no trackers, and sponsors get no data about you.
Hosting
Salatuna is hosted by Cloudflare. As with any website, requests for our pages pass through its servers, which process the technical data needed to deliver and protect them, such as your IP address, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We have turned on none of its features that set cookies or collect statistics.
How to delete everything
Clear this site's data in your browser's settings: that removes your settings, your saved location and the offline copy. Restoring the default settings inside the app resets your preferences but keeps your city.
